WWE had plans to separate the Undisputed title from November 2022. WWE writers are struggling with a unified title story. Now it’s clear that Roman Reigns’ titles will be separated after WrestleMania 39.

 Fightful Select reports that there were plans since November 2022 to separate the world titles held by Roman Reigns. The preliminary card listed Cody Rhodes as “an option” to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship on the first night.

However, these plans were completely scrapped. Drew McIntyre’s role with Sheamus on SmackDown took him completely out of the starting orbit.
