WWE announced Bobby Lashley’s opponent for WWE Supershow

WWE begins to announce main matches of its Supershows Local promotion reveals WWE matches that will take place in August Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston vs. Bobby Lashley and MVP will take place on August 7 and 8.

WWE announced a large number of event dates with the public beginning July 16, 2021. In addition to the venues where these shows will be held, more details about the undercard for two of them have been released. The tag team match between Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston vs. Bobby Lashley and MVP have been announced to take part in the August 7-8 “SuperShow” events to be held at Hertz Arena in Fort Myers and Stephen O’Connell Center in Gainesville, both in Florida.

It seems that WWE wants to continue the tradition of the old house shows, extending the rivalries of the weekly shows to this type of shows. Currently, Kofi Kingston is locked in a rivalry with Lashley and MVP. Drew McIntyre tries to return to the scene for the WWE Championship by qualifying for the Money in The Bank Ladder Match.

It should be noted the absence of Xavier Woods teaming up with his partner Kofi Kingston. After the beating received by Bobby Lashley on Monday Night Raw, there was speculation that Woods was absent from television for a time.
