Seth Rollins began by taking a jibe at Roman Reigns’ comments, saying, “It’s a huge pop for me.” The crowd, chanting ‘We want Cody,’ was met with Rollins’ response, “You want Cody? There’s good news for you all. I want Cody too.” He then called out Cody to fight him at WrestleMania.

Cody Rhodes, cheered on by the crowd, made his entrance. He began by addressing Rollins, “You took it all the way, I get it all.” Rollins then turned his attention to the crowd, who were heavily booing The Rock, who had appeared last week on SmackDown and confronted Roman Reigns, possibly hinting at a WrestleMania match against him.

Rollins, addressing Cody on the chants, asked, “Is it 1996 again?” He then cut straight to the chase, expressing his need for a match with Cody at WrestleMania. “I got to know that I’m better than I was the last time we did this dance a couple of years ago. I got to know that I’m the best, and the only way I can know if I’m the best is if I test myself against the best, and Cody Rhodes, you are the best.”

Just as the world awaited an answer, Drew McIntyre interrupted the exchange. He expressed his frustration, “I think I speak on behalf of everybody when I say, what the hell? I laid you both up perfectly for WrestleMania, and you’re potentially going to screw it all up.” The tension in the ring escalated as Drew McIntyre addressed Cody Rhodes, urging him to choose Seth Rollins over Roman Reigns. He reminded Cody of the story he’d been building for two years, the work he’d done on and off TV, and the media events he’d attended. “Don’t let me down. Don’t let your family down. Don’t let all these people down and all the people across the world,” Drew implored.

Seth Rollins, however, was quick to retort, “Hey, Drew, look, you ain’t got to be a prick, alright?” He questioned Drew’s assumption that if Cody didn’t accept his challenge for WrestleMania, it would be him and Drew in the ring. He reminded Drew of their past encounters, “We’ve done this dance twice, and if I remember correctly, you lost.”

Drew acknowledged that there were outside reasons why he lost those matches but pointed out that Seth had lost to Cody three times. He then praised Seth for his work with the title, calling it the true workhorse championship. He criticized Roman’s matches, stating that no one wants to fight for his title anymore because they know the finish. His family interferes every single time, Drew claimed, citing his own experience and Cody’s.

As Cody tried to interject, Drew cut him off, “Okay, Cody, I’m not finished yet, please.” He then turned his attention to Seth, “If you were a real workhorse, they would have shot you dead after the first injury. Now, about 17 injuries later, it’s time for somebody to do the job. You’ve done an amazing, amazing job taking the title this far, but it’s time for Drew McIntyre to take it from here.”

The night ended in chaos as Drew attacked Seth Rollins. Cody hit back at Drew and saved Rollins, while McIntyre escaped out of the ring. The segment left fans on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the next installment of WWE Raw.
