Video: Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes faced off on Monday Night RAW before their upcoming match at WrestleMania 39. Cody assured Roman that he would be left alone after the event, while Roman criticized what Cody represents and his track record.

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns had another confrontation on Monday Night RAW, building up the hype for their anticipated match at WrestleMania 39.

During the show, Roman entered the ring in St. Louis, Missouri, but was interrupted by Cody, who raised concerns about The Bloodline’s warning not to interfere with their business. Cody then asked Roman why he considered him a problem.

In response, Roman clarified that he didn’t see Cody as a problem but rather what he represented. Reigns to Cody

“Well, let’s get this straight. You’re not the problem. What you represent. Now that’s the problem. You see, wise man, he’s what we used to be. He’s like our fathers. He’s a professional wrestler. Well, we used to be you see, I’m a fighter, which in turn has allowed me to be the megastar around here. And you come in here and you say all these things that you’re going to do when we know you’re not going to do because look at your track record. 

” You didn’t want to do the Stardust thing. So what happened? Your ran away you started a company in a promotion that you couldn’t get over in. And then you ran away? And then you came here and you accent Yeah, exactly. H/T Wrestling Unseen

Roman distinguished himself from Cody as a fighter, not just a professional wrestler, and highlighted Cody’s past decisions to leave WWE and his promotion. Roman also questioned Cody’s credibility and promised that his family would never abandon him.

The segment ended with Solo Sikoa stopping an attack on Cody, and WWE social media confirmed that Cody would face Solo next week on Monday Night RAW. Cody, however, assured Roman that he would leave him alone after WrestleMania, suggesting that he was not interested in prolonging their feud beyond the event.
