I told my wife: ‘I think they are going to last 30 (minutes)’. They ended up lasting a little longer 34, and it was a classic. I loved it and wouldn’t have changed a thing. I texted a couple of people who had been in it: Awesome.”
“I loved the ending,” Austin continued. “I loved everything. Roman is very good right now. The story was there: Cody coming back from injury, coming back into the fold after he left AEW, and putting himself in the position he’s in now, overcoming all this adversity as a part of one of the most famous wrestling families ever in the business, and trying to finish the story against Roman.”
“I watched both nights of WrestleMania 39 very closely. In my opinion, you can’t take the title from Roman right now. You want to give it to Cody somehow, some way, sometime… but now is not the time.”
