He has been absent from WWE TV since the Raw after WrestleMania, where he was scheduled to compete in a tag team match against Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar, along with his cousin Solo Sikoa.
However, Lesnar turned on Rhodes before the match started, Since then, Rhodes has been drafted to Raw and has been busy with his feud against Lesnar, whom he already defeated at Backlash.
Roman Reigns took to Twitter to hype up his return and make a bold statement about his status in WWE. He wrote:

However, he has no opponent for that event yet, so he might be looking for a new challenger on SmackDown. Who will dare to step up to Roman Reigns and challenge him for his title?
Will he be able to maintain his control over The Bloodline and keep them united? Or will he face some dissension from within his own family? Find out on SmackDown, tomorrow night at 8/7c on FOX!
