The current WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, will have a fairly quiet summer in terms of appearances. As reported “The Tribal Chief” would have a shorter schedule, which would allow him to work fewer dates without missing the most important events.

In the latest episode of SmackDown Reigns interfered in the match between RK-BRO & The Usos which cause defeat of Riddle & Orton & The Bloodline have all the gold.

After his brothers victory Roman Reigns & The Usos brutally attacked Riddle & Orton which was a clear indication that Riddle or Orton are next for Undisputed WWE Universal champion. WWE announced injury for RK-Bro after that attack.

The same has been confirmed by Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Meltzer points out that,

“Although the plans are not yet closed, Roman Reigns would face Riddle at WWE Money in the Bank (July 2), Randy Orton at WWE SummerSlam (July 30) and Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash at the Castle (September 3).”

All three PLEs will take place in large arenas, with Money in the Bank taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, SummerSlam at Nissan Stadium in Nashville and Clash at the Castle at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

It should be noted that, since unifying the company’s two top championships (Universal and WWE) in the main event of WrestleMania 38, Roman Reigns has not yet had a televised title defense.

At WrestleMania Backlash participated in a team match with The Usos to face the group formed by Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton and Riddle, curiously the 3 possible next rivals of the champion.

On the other hand, Reigns will not be part of the next WWE event, Hell in a Cell, which will feature Cody Rhodes as the main protagonist. “The American Nightmare” will face Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the third time, this time inside the unforgiving infernal cell.
