FTR Win the AEW Dynamite Tag Team Championships

On Wednesday’s episode of All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite, FTR, consisting of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, emerged victorious in a closely contested Tag Team Championship match against The Gunns.

The match took place in Long Island, New York, and saw The Gunns initially taking advantage of foul play. Austin and Colten resorted to a series of dirty tactics to keep their opponents at bay. However, FTR soon turned the tide in their favor, forcing The Gunns to ramp up their foul play even further.

At one point, Colten even ejected the referee mid-count, while Austin attempted to secure a disqualification with a bako punch. However, Wheeler prevented a DQ and compelled the referee to continue the match despite Austin hitting his partner with one of the belts.

In the dying moments of the match, Dax caught Colten in a Cash-assisted Roll-Up for the pinfall victory, securing FTR their second AEW World Tag Team Championships.

The Gunns had held the belts for 55 days and successfully defended them twice since their February 8 victory over The Acclaimed in El Paso, Texas. With FTR’s win, The Gunns’ reign came to a close.

Additionally, FTR’s victory ensures their continuity in All Elite Wrestling, following weeks of rumors about their contractual situation. This win is a significant boost to FTR, and they will look to establish themselves as one of the premier tag teams in AEW.

With their second championship reign, FTR looks set to dominate the AEW tag team scene, and we cannot wait to see what they have in store for us in the future. One thing is certain they renewed their contract with AEW which was rumored to expire soon.
