Last night on Raw the superstars Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn had their first exchange of words before the public.
The former member of The Bloodline suddenly invaded the ring before the crowd in Brooklyn, New York to send a message. “There is something I have to say, and there is someone I must say it to.” With these words, Sami Zayn called Cody Rhodes on stage, who made his entrance to the public to listen to the man from Canada.
Sami confessed to having heard his words on the broadcast last week, and wanted to know if he really thinks that he is capable of defeating Roman Reigns. The American Nightmare stressed the sincerity of his words, but made it clear that it only matters what Sami himself believes about it and not what he thinks. The rival of The Tribal Chief in Elimination Chamber warned that he had been part of what he is facing, and despite maintaining his desire to come out with victory he does not know if he will be able to defeat someone with so much power around him.
Cody tried to cheer Sami up by giving him credit for “breaking through the shell” of a The Bloodline that everyone saw as indestructible. “Roman can put on his shirts that he’s in god mode, but at the end of the day he’s just a man. If I’m back to finish my story, I want you to finish yours.” The American Nightmare finished his words by clarifying that he did not want to see him on RAW next week, but rather hoped to see him at WrestleMania.
