Roman Reigns, the reigning WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, recently opened up about his feelings towards CM Punk on the Load Management podcast.
Reigns admitted that he doesn’t have a positive opinion of Punk and that he made his job in WWE much harder in the past.
Roman Reigns said “I don’t like the guy. I mean I don’t know many people that do but I’m willing to put business first and make really good content if that’s the case. But yeah, he probably has to be slapped around a few times in order to get his mind right.” H/T Ringside News
Several former WWE wrestlers, including Seth Rollins, have expressed their negative opinions about Punk. Reigns added his voice to this group, claiming that he doesn’t know many people who like Punk. Despite his personal feelings, Reigns stated that he is willing to work with Punk if it helps create good content for WWE.
Punk’s return to the ring in 2021 has been a hot topic among wrestling fans, but his recent altercation backstage at AEW All Out 2022 has led to negative sentiments from fans and fellow wrestlers. His toxic behavior has divided the locker room, with some wrestlers considering him a liability.
CM Punk is currently away from AEW programming due to injury, and his return is uncertain. Despite the controversies surrounding him, fans still debate his potential comeback.
