Seth Rollins proved once again why he is the “Visionary” of WWE by successfully defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest on Monday Night RAW.

Last week Priest accepted Rollins’ open challenge for a title match and gave him a tough fight tonight. The Judgment Day member used his power and agility to counter Rollins’ offense and even survived a Curb Stomp on the announce table.

However, interference by Finn Balor backfired and allowed Rollins to hit another Curb Stomp for the win.

After the match, Rollins and Balor had a tense stare-down, hinting at a possible future feud. Rollins celebrated his victory and raised his title high, while Priest looked disappointed but respectful.

Rollins won the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions 2023, defeating AJ Styles in the finals of a tournament that was announced by Triple H.

The title was created to give a brand-exclusive world title since Roman Reigns has been holding both the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship hostage. Rollins became the first champion of the modern version of this title and the fifth world champion in his WWE career.
