Seth Rollins Joins the Cast of ‘Captain America: New World Order
WWE fans and Marvel fans have a reason to celebrate as one of WWE’s most popular superstar, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, has joined the cast of the upcoming Disney+ series ‘Captain America: New World Order’.
Rollins, who is currently competing for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against AJ Styles at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on May 27, has been spotted on the set of the Marvel show dressed as a member of the Serpent Society, a group of villains who use snake-themed costumes and abilities to fight against Captain America and his allies.

The Serpent Society has been a recurring enemy of Captain America in the comics since the 1980s and has featured members such as Anaconda, Cobra, Death Adder, Diamondback, Sidewinder, and Viper. It is not clear which member Rollins will be playing, but he certainly looks menacing and badass in his green and black outfit.
This is not the first time that Rollins has shown his love for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has often paid tribute to various superheroes and villains in his wrestling gear, such as Thanos, Iron Man, Venom, and Spider-Man. He has also expressed his admiration for actors like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Tom Holland on social media.
Rollins is not the only WWE superstar who has ventured into the world of acting. Stars like John Cena, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Dave Bautista, and Roman Reigns have all appeared in blockbuster movies and TV shows. Rollins himself has starred in films like ‘Armed Response’ and ‘The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-WrestleMania!’, as well as voiced characters in animated shows like ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ and ‘Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery.
‘Captain America: New World Order’ is a sequel to ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’, which followed Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) as they dealt with the legacy of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) after his retirement as Captain America. The series will also feature Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Daniel Brühl as Helmut Zemo, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.
The series is expected to premiere on Disney+ in late 2023 or early 2024. We can’t wait to see Rollins in action as he brings his wrestling skills and charisma to the Marvel universe. Congratulations to Seth “Freakin” Rollins on landing this big gig!
