Roman Reigns is reportedly no longer schedule for Money in the Bank

Roman Reigns is reportedly no longer scheduled for upcoming premium live event WWE Money in the bank which will take place on 2nd July 2022.

The reason for Reigns absence is still unknown. Roman Reigns had not defended his titles at WM Backslash & hell in a cell events & now he is not scheduled to wrestle at Money in the bank.

The news first reported by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, a few hours later, Dave Meltzer of WOR also confirmed the same.

“The expected slate of opponents for Reigns hasn’t changed, but he currently is no longer scheduled to work Money in the Bank.

The reports states that despite not being schedule in MITB Reigns next three opponents are same as previously reported Riddle, Orton & Mcintyre.

In the last episode of WWE Monday Night Raw Riddle challanged Roman Reigns for Undisputed WWE Universal championship match & in previous SmackDown episode Drew Mcintyre also challenged Reigns for a title match at Clash at the castle event.

 

It is Roman Reigns’ third consecutive event where he will not defend his Undisputed WWE Universal championship. Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 & unified WWE & Universal titles.

Last month it was reported that Roman Reigns signed a new deal with company which allows him working a reduced schedule on TV & live events it is still unknown that when the Head of the table will return into the Ring.
