Dana White Reveals Brock Lesnar’s Possible Return to UFC and Dream Fight Against Jon Jones

UFC President Dana White recently revealed the possibility of a Brock Lesnar return to the octagon and a dream fight against Jon Jones.

Brock Lesnar, a former UFC heavyweight champion, has made a name for himself in the world of professional wrestling as a WWE superstar. However, his MMA career still attracts a lot of attention from UFC fans, especially after Jon Jones’ recent victory at UFC 285, where he won the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

In a recent interview with The Spun by Sports Illustrated, UFC President Dana White discussed the possibility of Lesnar returning to the octagon and facing Jones in the highly anticipated dream fight.

When asked about a potential fight between Lesnar and Jones, White said,

“Brock and I have a great relationship, and we always have, but I don’t think Brock wants to fight anymore Brock’s made a lot of money. He came into the UFC and won the heavyweight title. He’s got nothing left to prove. I don’t think he’d want to do it.” H/T MyMMANews

While Lesnar has not fought in the UFC since 2016 when he faced Mark Hunt at UFC 200, many fans still hold out hope for a return to the octagon. His dominant performance against Randy Couture, Frank Mir, and Shane Carwin still resonates with many MMA enthusiasts, and the possibility of a dream fight against Jon Jones at heavyweight is a tantalizing prospect.

Lesnar made his UFC debut in 2008 at “UFC 81: Breaking Point”, where he lost to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir. Despite the loss, Lesnar had an impressive UFC career, winning the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 91 by defeating Randy Couture via second-round TKO.

He has a 5-3-0 record in MMA. Jones, on the other hand, won the UFC Heavyweight Championship by defeating Ciryl Gane in the main event of UFC 285.

While a fight between Lesnar and Jones may be nothing more than a pipe dream at this point, it’s clear that both fighters have left a significant mark on the world of MMA. Lesnar’s dominant run in the UFC and his crossover success in WWE have cemented his place as one of the biggest stars in combat sports history.

Meanwhile, Jones’ incredible talent and impressive resume make him one of the most formidable fighters in the game today. Whether or not Lesnar ever steps back into the octagon remains to be seen, but his impact on the sport is undeniable.
