WWE Night of Champions 2023, where all of WWE’s main roster championships will be defended except the Undisputed Universal championship, will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on May 27, 2023.

According to Better Wrestling Environment (formerly BoozerRasslin), WWE has marketed three matches as the main events of Night of Champions. These are:

  1. Roman Reigns and Solo vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the WWE Undisputed tag team championships.
  2. Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes.
  3. Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles for the World Heavyweight Championship.

“Three main events being marketed for NOC: Undisputed tag team match, Brock vs Cody, and WHC Match.”

This is similar to what WWE did at Backlash in 2023, where they had a double main event featuring Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes and Damian Priest vs Bad Bunny. However, this time, they are taking it a step further by having a triple main event for such a significant event.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it is a good idea to have three main events for the Night of Champions? Or do you think it will take away from the importance and prestige of each championship match? Let us know in the comments below.
