Fans were shocked and concerned when Bayley, one of the top female superstars in WWE, apparently got injured during her Triple-Threat match with Asuka and Charlotte Flair at the live event in Salisbury, Maryland tonight.
According to eyewitnesses, Bayley was holding her knee and grimacing in pain after a spot involving Asuka. The referee immediately threw up the “X” sign, indicating a serious injury, and called for the bell. Bayley was helped to the back by medical staff and did not return to the ring.
It is not clear yet how severe Bayley’s injury is or how long she will be out of action. We will update you with more information as soon as we get it. We wish Bayley a speedy recovery and hope to see her back in the ring soon!
