Initially, McIntyre was scheduled to appear alongside Cody Rhodes and other superstars, but Now Roman Reigns, who was originally not advertised, has taken his place for MITB Premium Live Event & SmackDown Episode in London.

It is unclear why McIntyre has been removed from the Money in the Bank card, but some sources suggest that it may be related to his contract status with WWE. McIntyre is reportedly in the final year of his current contract, and negotiations for a new deal have yet to be finalized. His contract is set to expire in January 2024 unless an extension is agreed upon before then.

McIntyre has been absent from action since WrestleMania 39, where he lost to Sheamus & Gunther in a Triple Threat match for the Intercontinental Championship. He is expected to miss a few more weeks of action due to creative reasons.

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns continues his dominant run as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa will face Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens for Unified tag team titles at Night of Champions. His opponent for MITB is not yet announced .

Reigns could use the Money in the Bank briefcase as a way to secure his title reign or challenge for another title if he loses his belt, although recent events suggest that he is unlikely to lose it anytime soon.
