Backstage report on WWE’s plans to bring back the Fiend persona of Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt is one of the most intriguing and versatile characters in WWE history. He has undergone several transformations over the years, from being the leader of the sinister Wyatt Family to the cheerful host of the Firefly Fun House, and finally to the terrifying Fiend. However, his latest persona has not been well received by fans or WWE officials.

According to a report from Fight Fans, WWE was unhappy with Wyatt’s new gimmick and his match against LA Knight at Royal Rumble 2023, which was a Pitch Black Match. The report claims that WWE wanted Wyatt to change his character back to the Fiend right after Royal Rumble, but the talks stalled for a while.

“I have been in talks regarding it since after Royal Rumble earlier this year. Talks stopped for a while and were picked up again within the last month or two. But as of today, I have heard no movement currently on The Fiend making a return.” – H/T FightFans.co.uk

Wyatt has been absent from WWE TV for a couple of months. He was scheduled to face Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39. However, the match was scrapped a few days before WrestleMania due to Wyatt’s health or creative issues.

Wyatt’s fans have been eagerly waiting for his return, especially after he shocked the world by showing up at Extreme Rules 2022 as the White Rabbit, a mysterious figure who had been teasing his arrival for weeks.

What do you think? Should WWE bring back the Fiend or stick with his current character? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
