All Elite Wrestling Announces Special Episode In Tribute To Jon Huber The next episode of AEW will pay tribute to Brodie Lee and serve to support his wife and children New Year’s Smash will be celebrated on January 6 and 13.
Through his social networks, All Elite Wrestling president Tony Khan announced that the next episode of AEW Dynamite will be a special in memory of Jon Huber (Brodie Lee).
Several moments ago, the president of AEW Tony Khan confirmed on his Twitter account the postponement of New Year’s Smash to January 6 and 13, 2021. The first date of the special episode was scheduled for this Wednesday, but Khan said they opted for replacing that billboard with one in tribute to the recently deceased Jon Huber.
This week’s undercard will consist of several tag team matches starring a Dark Order competitor, the team that Huber led with his “Mr. Brodie Lee” character. One of them stands out especially for including a team of favorite competitors of Brodie Huber, one of Jon’s sons. Tony Khan stated that they will not only seek to pay tribute to Huber, but also wish to express support for his wife and children.
The next episode of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite will take place on December 30, 2020, and can be seen on TNT Drama in the United States and on FITE.tv internationally.
